Before us is Orrin S. Reeds appeal from the district courts grant of summary judgment to the defendants on his sec. 1983 suit. Reed alleges that the defendants violated the Eighth Amendment by subjecting him to cruel and unusual punishment by withholding food and life-sustaining medication while he was incarcerated. For the reasons set forth below, we reverse the district courts judgment, and remand for trial.
